Subject: Transhumanism 2.0 for the Brits

I ran across the following item elsewhere, which raises many
questions. For one, it was understandable that the Extropy Inst. got
boring and its founders abandoned it to do their own thing by themselves,
so what is this presentation in London about? Do Americans have to commute
to hear the news? And that word ... "Proactionary" ... does this have
anything to do with the blind promotion of untested technology, such as
trying to bring about the Singularity? Scary. Maybe somebody can give us
all a meaningful heads-up on this? Where's Max?
