Proposed Western Canada Cryonics Training & Social
Thursday August 2nd & Friday August 3rd 2007
Calgary Alberta Canada

Ben Best is attending the cryobiology conference in Lake Louise from July 29 -
August 1, 2007. My hope is that we can put together a group of at least 10
people (we have 9 so far) and spend two days focused on cryonics.

Providing we can create enough interest in the west, the agenda would be quite
open. In addition to discussions on the latest vitrification techniques, I would
like to see a day of standby training. I'm sure everyone will have a topic they
would like to explore.

As a group, we would need to try and offset some of Ben's accommodation costs as
he would be staying on to meet with us. If there are ten of us, this would be
approximately $50.00 - $100.00 each. Obviously, other costs would include
accommodation, meals and travel. Also, as the proposed dates are so close to a
weekend -- a number of people may want to stay a few extra days and explore
Calgary or the mountains.

If you are interested or know of someone who might be, please send an email to:

Cheers,
Patrice

Note: My initial thoughts were to meet in Lake Louise, but the hotel rates in
Calgary are much more reasonable at this time of year.
