I'll second David Pizer's wishes for a successful, prosperous, and
happy 2007. History buffs, maybe others will find it of interest that
the 40th anniversary of James Bedford's freezing, an early milestone
in cryonics, is coming up Jan. 12. (Bedford is now at Alcor.) Happy
Bedford Day to all.

Hello, all.

A belated "third" to above greetings for Winter Solstice, Christmas, New
Years. Etc. Around the Hoffman house, we just pulled our 57 "airblown"

decorations in from the yard, leaving our roof lites on to decorate for
Valentines.
We managed to leave the "Christ OUT of Christmas," with all cultural and
secular decorations...LOL.

Also, some of you in bigger cities may be interested in activities planned
for
Darwin day on February 12. Googling for "Darwin Day" will pull up the site.

Being in the scientific backwater of Daytona Beach, there is no event

planned to celebrate the birth of Darwin, one of the most original and
influential
people to have ever lived, IMO.

Kind Regards, Glad Cryonet is recovering a bit from the content lull.

Also, don't forget to plan your year, and include the Suspended Animation
conference May 18 through 20 in south Florida. And the Alcor/Cryonics

conference scheduled October 6 and 7. :) Hope to see a bunch of y'all there!

Rudi Hoffman
