Subject: Frozen Dead Guy Days 2007 -- planning
Date: Fri, 5 Jan 2007 21:17:12 -0800

Hi, everybody!

The sixth annual Frozen Dead Guy Days winter
festival will be held from Friday, March 9 through
Sunday, March 11, 2007. The official Web site is

http://frozendeadguydays.org

I have a room booked at the Boulder Best Western,
and am at the top of the waiting list for the
Nederland Best Western (which would be much more
convenient and save cab fare). The room can hold
up to four, in case anyone wants to come along!
Let me know. It's fun! The room is less than
$100, so you would pay a maximum of $50/night if
there are just two of us; more is less ;-) .

I've booked a round-trip flight from San Francisco
to Denver -- $325, but travel rewards cover it.

I have information about the SkyRide from Denver
International Airport to Boulder, and the bus from
Boulder to Nederland, ready to forward to any
adventurous and intrepid souls who decide to join me.

I have five one-hour slots on the program, one on
Friday evening and two each on Saturday and Sunday,
for showing the National Geographic Channel Alcor
documentary with Q&A afterwards. If someone has a
suggestion for a better presentation, please make it.

I think I'll have more room for display this year,
since I'll apparently have the space outside the
video room, where T-shirts used to be sold, to myself.
This may change; I may ask to be placed in an area
with more traffic.

My plans for my booth are somewhat sketchy, since the
layout and context have both changed. My identity will
be Go Cryo!, so I'm not specifically supporting one of
the cryonics organizations over the rest. I'll want to
work on my Web site, print a better banner (the last
one was 8-1/2x11 sheets taped to a roll of fax paper),
do a new survey (though with less traffic it might be
hard to get much of a sample -- I may look into how I
might get people to come to gocryo.org to take it
online), do new business cards, et more cetera than I
can count. A little every day gets the job done.

Anyone who cares to support my endeavors can PayPal a
small donation to -- Thanks!

Live long and prosper,
Kennita
