Subject: All of Arizona is not hot

Someone said Arizona is one of the hottest places on earth so something like
that.

A lot of people have this misconception that all of Arizona is very hot. This
  is not true.

In fact Arizona is home to the world's largest Ponderosa Pine forrest.

One part of Arizona had a small town in it which used to report the dailey
temperature. It was call Maverick Arizona. When it was reporting (it has
stopped now) if was on average the coldest place in the continental USA.

The town of Mayer, which is an hour north of Alcor, is very mild. In the
hottest summer days, the mornings and evening are cool and delightful. Even
in the hottest part of the afternoon it is cooler than Phoenix.

Today the high in Mayer will be about 70 degrees.

Arizona has the best year around temperature in the United States as witnessed
by the fact that so many people are moving here from the rest of the country.

Come visit Mayer and see for yourself.

  David
