That's all right - I'm bilingual. I first learned Fahrenheit, then Celsius 
came to Australia (along with other metric units) in the early 70s.

I have been to the US twice (many years ago), though not to Arizona. I 
intend to make another visit in the not-too-distant future, to check out CI 
(with whom I am now fully signed up) and Alcor. I will also try to visit 
Mayer.

I first heard of Arizona in Donald Duck/Mickey Mouse comics, which I  read 
avidly as a small boy, so I knew that it was a desert state (although I 
thought it was 'Arizonia').
