Hi again!

To Bob Ettinger, I want to make clear that my discussion of how important it is
to write things up was not a criticism of what he's put on the net at all.
Informal discussions are fine. But I've several times asked him to either
provide a much more extensive writeup, or get someone else to do so. And I
was really speaking not just to the failure of anyone in the Cryonics Institute
to write up any results in detail, but to anyone on Cryonet who claims they
have found something new but content themselves with an informal report to
the rest of us.

Certainly that writing does take time and effort. But as a discipline those who
do it benefit very highly too, since by the end of writing it up they are very
likely to understand far better what did and did not happen in their experiment
or their experience. Perhaps they want to put this writeup under lock and key
after that ... but after all, we are all trying to achieve the same goal, and
sharing it with others will help everyone.

				Long long life,

				   Thomas
