Dying alone and perhaps not being discovered for days or weeks will ruin your 
chance of a good cryopreservation.  What can we do?


There are electronic devices available that can be worn like a necklace.  
Pushing the button on them summons help.  Two brands are Life Alert and 
Lifefone.  That works if you have some warning of a potentially lethal event.


What happens if there is no warning or you don't recognize it?  We need a device
that detects the absence of a heartbeat and automatically summons help.  
Implantable cardiac defibrillators could be modified to send an alarm when a 
heartbeat becomes too irregular or stops.  I suggested this to some local 
bioengineers.  The technology is available to automatically monitor your health 
it just takes someone to develop it.
