Not only would it be easy in theory, but it has already been done at
least once. No observable harm seen in humans in doses up to 5g/day in
volunteers of normal body mass. (Larger doses were not tried.)  As an
exercise to the reader, I suggest you find the study in the
literature. It isn't hard -- if I could find it, you can find it too.

One need not wonder about or speculate about things that have already
been tested and reported on. One need merely look up the information
in the open literature and read it.
