I do assure you that a comment about insurance funding is always a major
part of my interviews. However, interviews are always edited by someone
else
so it's quite tough to get all the words reported accurately.
Unfortunately,
journalists have their own take on the subject and often hear what they
want
to hear. Though nerve racking, the live interviews are probably the best as
the most they can do is to cut you off!

It is a little disheartening to realise how much one has to do and say to
make any impact. A few years ago the London based New Scientist Magazine
did
a promotion on cryonics and I was heavily involved. It was covered in
something like 25 major newspapers around the world and I did two whole
days
of radio and TV interviews. Result? Who knows. Exhaustion for me ... an
exciting few days and maybe the word was spread to one or more people who
 did sign up!

But I shall keep ploughing on and try to say the right things wherever
 possible.
