Ettinger writes today:

The main points I often try to make are: (1) Do what we know works. (2) YOU

do it.

(1) Despite the disappointments and slow growth, we are growing and the
rate
of growth is improving. The wind is at out backs--every advance in science
and technology, even if not directly relevant, tends to strengthen our case.

(2) It is easy, but probably useless, for you to suggest grandiose schemes
for others to carry out. What you can do personally, right now, may not be
much, but it is definitely something, which is somewhat better than
nothing.
Three of these things are (a) keep working patiently and inoffensively on
your
own relatives and acquaintances; (b) offer to do chores for CI or your
organization; (c) give some extra money to CI or your organization on a
regular
basis.

Beautifully stated. Thank you for this and other salient observations on
your posting today, Robert Ettinger.

While we should remain open to the principles of marketing, the reality at
this point is we a bit early in the curve for mass marketing.

And, folks who just signed up, or are not EVEN signed up, sharing what "you
folks should do to market this thing" do tend to be a bit wearing. (More

precisely, they range from "mildly annoying" to "completely obnoxious pains in
the butt!")

Also, I just read my article. (Not surprisingly, I thought it was pretty
good! LOL!)
But I wanted to apologize that the repasting from Microsoft Word to the

email format for Cryonet submission meant quite a few paragraph and punctuation
error booboos, which are not in the original.

It is a axiom of marketing...and common sense...that SHORT paragraphs and
short sentences are easier to read and follow.

The sentence following this one was the "take home message" from a rather
expensive seminar on writing and advertising copy:

If in doubt, use a paragraph break to make your writing style more
accessible.

Kind Regards to all...let's make this a wonderful and productive day.

Rudi
