Absolute rubbish!  By guessing 2018, you display an incredible lack of
understanding of the science involved.  The problem is vastly more complex
than you seem to think.  There is a very good reason why nearly all
scientists believe it's impossible.  It's because they understand quite
correctly that it will take a very very long time to solve.  So long, that
they can't see it ever happening.  At the very least, they all know that it
won't happen in their own lifetime.  So, in that sense, the establishment is
quite correct.  What make us different is that we can accept a longer-term
vision of the future.  But please don't go around predicting such ridiculous
dates.  It only convinces me that you are irrational, and that everything
else you say on any other topic can no longer be trusted.

The first mammal can't possibly happen until well into the latter part of
this century, and quite possibly not until next century.

I am going to guess 2018 for our first large mammal.
 
And 2035 for the first human...probably preserved under much more  near
perfect laboratory conditions than most current cryonicists...to be revived
from cryonics temperatures.  And I further speculate that some iteration of
21st Century Medicine people will be the one's doing this.
