Now to Mr. Hoffman and his Poll. For those who may vote in it, I ask how
>long has it been, if ever, Rudi, that you recommended to a younger and
>healthy person to buy a nice affordable term life insurance policy for
>under $20/month...

When I wanted term life for cryonics I first went through some online

service (Quotesmith?) and got a low quote that sounded good. But their physical
turned up one liver enzyme out of the average range (my doctor had long

dismissed it) and they used this to justify doubling or tripling the low quote.
I
then went through Rudi, who got me an almost-as-low quote which the company
raised only slightly after the physical.

I suspect some companies use a bait and switch technique, offering a low

quote that applies to Superman on a good day, then using any excuse to raise it
unreasonably. The company Rudi found made only a small and reasonable
adjustment for a small "defect", and offered a good rate in the end.

I think Rudi is knowledgeable, helpful and honest. If one must buy something
one often goes through a salesman. And, yes, Rudi is a salesman, but a good
and reliable one.
