Subject: An Australian Cryonics facility & apartment for sale

People,

Many of you will be aware that I have been working for some years on the
establishment of an Australian Cryonics facility. I have made some
progress with this plan - I have approval for a family facility from the
NSW State Health Department and planning approval from the local
Council. I have purchased a 50 acre block of land outside Cowra (a
small country town 4 hours west of Sydney) and have been making other
preparations (I have also purchased an adjoining block of 100 acres).

However I decided some time ago that a stand-alone, non-profit Cryonics
facility was not going be financially viable and that it would need to
be subsidised by some for-profit organisations. So as part of the
"master plan" I have been gradually getting out of the IT industry
(although I originally trained as a biologist, I have been in the IT
industry for 20+ years) and setting up commercial operations that were
in some way related to Life Extension - and could eventually help
subsidise the Cryonics/Suspended Animation research plans. One of these
businesses is called "Life Extension Villages" (LEVs) and the first of
these is a US$5M property development (also in Cowra):

LEVs will be environmentally friendly, energy efficient, hi-tech
(including medical monitoring) communities specifically aimed at people
who want to live longer and better. I have made some progress with this
"Serenity" LEV development (land purchase in Cowra township,
Architectural sketches, meetings with Council etc) and am confident that
this sort of development is going to attract national attention for
various reasons.

Unfortunately the side effect of doing new things and getting out of the
IT Industry is that the cash flow from the IT business is drying up and
so I have been forced into the position of having to put my apartment
(on Sydney Harbour) on the market, so that I can continue to develop the
LE projects:

The apartment will probably sell for about US$1.1M .

I would prefer not to have to sell this place but to keep the ball
rolling with these other Life Extension projects I probably don't have
much choice at the moment. However, if I HAVE to sell this apartment, I
would prefer to sell it to another Cryonicist/Life Extensionist so I am
letting you all know just in case someone has an interest.

The other idea I had for using this apartment was as a stop-over
residence for US Life Extensionists visiting Australia - I aim to have
some of the residences in the "Serenity" village available for rent for
tourists or for people who just want to escape from the rat-race for a
while. Maybe a US Life Extensionist "Discover Oz" package deal could be
set up. Cowra is centrally located in NSW and would make a great base
for people on an extended tour of NSW/Oz.

Anyway, I thought I would bring people up to date with what is happening
and if anyone does have some interest in these projects, don't hesitate
to contact me . .

R&LL,

Phil.
