This may be old news, but has anyone gotten one of the Verichips implanted
(or thought seriously about it), for a backup to our bracelets/necklaces?
Apparently it stores data for physician directives, basic medical data, etc.

I'm thinking very seriously about it, after seeing it on Mythbusters (the
fact that it's fine in an MRI), I can't see any downside. I've got them for
the animals, why not me (besides the potential security problems, but hey I
wear a necklace that they could get data from with a phone call, and I carry
a wallet that, if lost, could do tons more damage than what this thing will
say - A string of 16 digits with a link to a website, that will have some
phone numbers...)?
