I think one of the most important milestones will be successful
freezing (or vitrifying) and resuscitation of a mammalian brain (as
opposed to just any ole' mammalian organ.)

If we can show some normal EEG readings etc. on a brain that has
been frozen and thawed with demonstrable structural integrity, then
in my opinion, we are most of the way to convincing even skeptics
that this may work eventually. The feasibility of organ
transplantation in general is clearly demonstrated by modern
technology. It's not a very big leap to think that we might even be
able to successfully transplant a brain or two someday.

"But getting a frozen brain to be *viable* for transplantation, now
that's impossible!"

How does one gain access to your futures market, Nick? If the
contributors are sharp, I would expect conversations about such
milestones to produce some fascinating reading.

Forward in all directions!
