Subject: Being fair to both sides

Steve Bridge posted that I had left out the places
where people could see the posts in their entire
original condition. I thank him for that and I have
included his message which contains those addresses
below. I also think it only fair that my replies be
posted on those sites next to their messages as a
response to them, since their messages were a response
to things I had said earlier.

I have asked Alcor to do this.

David

Subject: Links to Tanya Jones and Ralph Merkle replies
to Dave Pizer

From Steve Bridge
Alcor Board Advisor
January 19, 2008

Since Dave Pizer has already posted to CryoNet a reply
to Ralph
 Merkle's
reply to Dave, it is only fair that CryoNet readers
have the link so
 they can read
Ralph's full text. This was posted just a few hours
ago and Dave
 replied
before we had time to get an announcement to CryoNet
that it existed.
 (It's all
going too fast for some of us who do not sit in front
of their
 computers all day
waiting for the next shot in the battle.)

Ralph Merkle's letter is here:
http://www.alcor.org/Library/html/perpetuating.html

Some changes are being made in the FAQ and other
relevant places on
 Alcor's
website to link to Ralph's letter to make it easier to
find; but as of
 this
writing, I don't see those other links. This will give
you a start.

Also, Alcor Chief Operating Officer Tanya Jones has
replied to Dave
 Pizer's
concerns about Alcor's management, with a long post on
the Alcor News
 Blog. She
specifically avoids the election of Directors issue
(for reasons she
 states
in her post) and concentrates on mangement questions.

Tanya's post is at:
http://www.alcornews.org/weblog/2008/01/update_on_recent_progress.html#more

This is a persistent link to the actual post, rather
than a general
 link to
the first page of the Weblog, which will change with
every new post.
