Subject: Improved Extended ASCII Translation

In CryoNet message # 30843 Chris Manning pointed out
that automatically converting accented characters to
spaces makes the message difficult to read. Good point.
The CryoNet software now performs a more reasonable
translation of extended ASCII characters. For example,
an accented "e" now becomes "e", an "A" with diacritics
now becomes "A", and "smart quotes" become ordinary quotes,
rather than spaces.
