Hello Rudi, glad to see you back :-).

Can you explain a bit more about Long Term Care Insurance? It is my
understanding that this can also protect your assets and has been something I've
been meaning to set up. Although my cryonics funding is fully funded by a whole
life policy that is paid off, and owned by my trust. I realize that my
insurance would not be affected by medical bills--but I worry about having to
pour all my income then (at the end of my life) into whatever medical problems
I'd be having.

Also, are there any new ideas on the wealth preservation front? I do have
directives to give money to a already established wealth preservation trust, out
of my own trust at my preservation (separate that what goes to my children or
the then created marital trust for my spouse). If you could give us a brief
update, that would be great--every so often I love to review all my plans to see
if I can make them better, I shoot for every 5 years on this.

By the way Rudi--I was at a science lecture for kids at the University of Austin
last night and Free Inquiry had a table handing out information and past
magazines. The man running it was quite chatty and happy to hear that I was
already a member. I asked him if he has been reading for many years, he said he
had--I asked him if he remembered an article on Cryonics? He said, "In the
death and dying issue?"--after affirming him we launched into an informal
interview where I quizzed his memory and general impressions of your article!
He thought cryonics was around 7 thousand, but also thought it was only for
those that had the money upfront--or paid a lot before they passed away. He
also thought that cryonics was not proven by science, but not disproved either
(I gave him the more accurate amounts, explained how people pay with life
insurance, and talked about some of the studies that show it is highly likely to
work if humanity keeps advancing of

course ;-)--he also had fun meeting my kids). But, it just goes to show that
all the articles we get out there help shape public opinion! I thought you'd
like hearing the thoughts of someone that remembered reading your article ;-).

Thanks for sharing with us,

Shannon Vyff
