I propose that the cells of an organism are in competition for the recources of the organism's body. There are many examples. For example elastin is displaced by collagen. Consequently your skin wrinkles. Cancer cells are very capable of exploiting the body's environment. In fact so capable that if you can survive long enough the carcenoma cells would displace every single cell. There are endless other examples. What changes the cell's environment? That is the key to a long life. Ponder carefully before you respond. I hope to see many responsible replies. Jan (John) Coetzee. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=3185
