I'm no expert, but I think the most important step is to make sure
that all of your close relatives know that you want to be cryonically
preserved, that you're aware of the negative public opinions and
publicity, and that you're aware of the low probability of eventual
reanimation. Tell them that you'd like their support, but, regardless
of how they feel, this is your decision, and any interference in the
process would be inappropriate and unwelcome.
