Subject: Why 2x poor?

Hi cryonauts,

why I got to the comment http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=33246
2x Poor? 1x does not worry me ... 2x makes me uneasy. 2x good also ... haha
:-D
You can still do such a perfect freeze, do with a dead man there are only
philosophical sense? Only quite if it must be transported over long
distances.
Of course you can change laws, I believe however in no short term change in
our ponderous democracies. Since each can only hope to find some personal
solution.

Warum bekam ich auf den Kommentar
http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=33246 2x Poor? 1x beunruhigt
mich nicht ... 2x macht mich schon unruhig. 2x good auch... haha :-D
in unseren Demokratien. Da kann nur jeder hoffen, irgendeine personliche
Losung zu finden.

Hi cryonauts, hi Jon

I believe that the general reproach of professionals against cryonics is not
primarily the freezing process, but because we do not do it with living(!)
peoples.
Against our fears were sedative / drugs and possible professional
Anesthesia.
If one asks himself the death watch, you can go to the cryonic institute,
one make a last party etc. - depending on the state of health. Then you fall
asleep .. in the circle of family and friends :-) This has dignity, has a
scientific sense and only little(!) logistical effort and risks.
Perhaps then, more professionals have courage to help us and silent / secret
to breaking the law. Laws make man, no one is infallible.

***

unfehlbar.

Subject: 2 standby is better than 1
From: =?UTF-8?Q?Jonathan_Despr=C3=A9s?= <>

Hi

I think Alcor should offer 2 standby instead of 1.

1 should be planned before long ago before the real death.

If you know what I mean.

For example Alcor, for like 2000$ could go in my home go visit me, just to
make sure the standby will know where to go, where is the hospital, the
appartment, if you have the keys, the police number etc.. all those things.

Laughlin did that I think and I think it's a good idea. To make 2 standby,
one for testing, one for real. the testing would be offered as an option to
offer a safer, more rapid real action.
