Nice job! You've obviously thought this through. I can't imagine anyone really expecting or wanting people to deal with this overwhelming amount of liability and trouble nor could I imagine people realistically thinking that anyone could or would successfully pull it off. I sure wouldn't want my life to depend upon a setup like that! I'd rather go on down to my local cryonics company (actually Alcor, no matter where it is) and let them do what they have, through decades of overcoming obstacles, hard won expertise, and dedicated determination, designed themselves to do. Brenda for att!garnet.berkeley.edu!quaife or re: 319,20 Art, I think the "can-rattling" line is great. It's really very funny. But, Art, you should be ashamed of yourself for the rest. You know better. I'm not so sure this particular can produced a rattle. Personally, I think you opened a can of worms. They don't rattle, they just get caught by the early bird. Have you seen the Alcor logo, lately? Brenda for att!uunet!m2xenix!agora.rain.com!batie or re:291 If it's possible to recover anyone from cryonic suspension I think I'll be recovered. Because I know that if I had the ability and opportunity to recover someone or to save someone's life, I would do so. I think there will be at least a few people around who feel the same way. I also think that "giving someone life" is a power trip that at least somebody will not be able to resist. Millions of people go into the medical field every year so there must be some appeal to saving lives. Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=344
