Attorney James Bianchi set up our "Charitable Trust for
Cryobiological Research" (CTCR), which funds your cryonic
suspension, in such a say that he believes that it indeed
qualifies as a charitable trust. Furthering that, it will be
managed by a non-profit charitable organization, the
International Cryonics Foundation.

The charitable nature of these CTCR trusts has not as yet been
tested in court. But suppose you expect to live another thirty
years. You can set up a Charitable Remainder Unitrust (CRU)
today, and immediately get many of the benefits of it. When you
deanimate, your CRU spills over into your CTCR. But you have
thirty years to revise your CTCR and insure it is indeed
charitable, if there is further case law or legal understanding
of the matter in the meantime.
