Several years ago I saw a television lecture about advances in domestic applicances. In that lecture, by someone from Thorn-EMI, a European brown and while goods manufacturer, said that an RF oven would be better than a microwave oven because it would really heat the food overall, and not just on a layer near the surface. He suggested that such products were in preparation. However they never appeared. The reason may be that the technical difficulties over obeying regulations on radio frequency interference were insuperable. Although such equipment exists industrially, it is likely that a domestic version would be expensive to produce or it would be difficult to ensure that it was maintained so as to obey the regulations throughout its life. -- Sincerely, **************************************** * Publisher of Longevity Report * John de Rivaz * Fractal Report * * details on request * **************************************** **** What is the point of life if it ends in death? **** Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=3868
