Subject: SCI. CRYONICS Pichugin report

Dr. Yuri Pichugin in the Ukraine has given us another brief report.
Partly paraphrasing as I understand it:

Non-ischemic rabbit brain pieces, with varying glycerol concentrations and
various times of low temperature exposure, were cooled at about 1 deg C/min
to - 196'C, then rewarmed. "The thawed tissue showed both spontaneous and
evoked bioelectric activity in most cases after washing out from glycerol and
their reanimation in culture of slices. A computer recorded all bioelectric
activity of the reanimated brain slices."

A detailed report is expected by July 7, and will be made available.

Subsequent experiments planned include freezing of non-ischemic cat heads and
human brain tissue by the CI method.
