Excuse me, but what relation does the battle between Macs and PCs have to cryonics? For what it's worth, I've used Macs, PCs, and now own both a PC and a ... shock, horror! ... Apple IIGS(which is powerful enough to have a Mac GUI). But I still don't see their relation to cryonics. Is Dr. Stodolsky proposing that we become reincarnated as a Mac or PC? I hope not: neither one has enough power, not to mention their lack of other abilities. Will they be used to help bring us back? Well, by that time I expect that we will have very powerful highly parallel computers to do the computations needed. Just what user interface they might have is an interesting question. Macs and PCs both will be seen as antiques and appear in museums, along with astrolabes and other such equipment. They aren't even powerful enough to do the calculations really needed for nanotechnology! Long long life, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=4619
