Subject: Cheap alternative

Cryonics remains costly, it may be the best technical option, but is not
afordable for every one. More: it is legaly difficult to implement in some
countries. That is why I am less and less interested in "basic cryonics",
Chemical conservation, coupled with uploading, seems a better option for a
mass product. I have no doubt on the inferior quality of chemical
conservation and the near impossibility to bring back to life a corpse
chemically preserved. It would neverthless retain a sufficient amount of
information so that uploading would remains an open way.

Thyme extract is a powerfull antiseptic and conservator. It is worth
testing for chemical conservation This is an industrial product ready found
on the market. It may be more costly than cryonics in the first stage but
needs nothing more afterward : a cemetery is a good storrage facility for
such a technology. Cryonics will have to demonstrate good scientific
records if it want to survive in the new environment with the cheaper
chemical conservation.
