X-Message-Number: 4813 Date: Thu, 24 Aug 95 09:16:49 From: John de Rivaz <> Subject: pyramid cryonics I am interested in the idea of selling cyronics by multi-level, and I would like to reproduce your article "Longevity Report", and also in my columns in "Terra Libra News" and "The Immortalist". Please let me know if you agree to this, and mention c:\wp60\lr\waiting\permissio\mlm2.txt in any reply. Incidentally I would also like to thank you for posting such a thoughtful article, unlike Metzner's rant. I once took up another point Metzner made about Frederick Mann, and he just repeated vague accusations and refused to add any substance. Incidentally I think that the costs of marketing are a problem that if we could solve would give everyone a 30% or so increase in disposable income. Marketing creates no real wealth in the sense of manufacturing or designing, yet is necessary to get the goods from the factory gate to the customer. If everyone could pay factory (or farm) gate prices, the goods would still be made. MLM has one advantage in that all marketing costs go to the customers rather to professionals and tax gathering agencies.
