I'd say that was specific enough in itself, but there are several 
definitions of "collective". A group of libertarians could be defined as 
a 'collective' under the broader definitions. <grin>.
The examples it gives though are "collective farm (esp. communist)" and 
"radical publishing collective (eg. Time Out)". (In the 1970's - early 
1980's Time Out was a well-known left-wing activist magazine based in 
London.)

So it's clear that it's usually intended to denote a marxist style 
collectivism rather than just any group of people acting together.

I haven't followed this particular thread, so I couldn't say whether I'd 
think you were one or not, or whether it's relevent to this list.
