Mike is right-- I can be pretty obnoxious at times (and on this subject
I have VERY GOOD reason to be), but I don't see how Mike thinks that my
words can make me to blame for the consequences of *his* actions. After
several pages of reply to one of my one-liners, it was truly gratifying
to see my quote followed by the words "this is true"!

Yes, everybody makes mistakes and I agree that even a major blunder isn't
a disqualification from future effort. What *is* a disqualification, in
my considered judgment, is when you take actions like this, then don't
even recognize that what you have done and will continue to do undermines
everything cryonics is about.

Darwin goes on to threaten the survival of patients in suspensions and
their respective organizations and says that in a game of chicken with me he
has nothing to loose because his personal survival means so little to
him. Well, he's got me there-- *my* personal survival is a priority to me
otherwise I wouldn't give a shit. On the other hand, I am 15 years
younger than Mike is, and I have no major investment in the business and
*I* am innocent of anything other than being crude enough to tell the
truth.

Ever forward,

David
