Subject: SCI.CRYONICS Glycerol

In msg #5460 Mike Darwin writes about many cryoprotectant formulas.

I have a simple question: I there anybody knowing about using products packed in
micrometer oil bubbles? That technology is used in medicine, why not in
cryonics?

It would reduce all viscosity problems and, if in a second step some membrane
cell markers could be included, there would be the possibility to target a
specific product or mixture to a specific organ or cell population.

To make micron-size oil bags, the only required device is a sonicator using
ultrasounds similar to what is found in laboratory cleaner.
