(forever if it didn't work) Unfortunately a test case in the USA had the court decide that this could not be allowed. One of the reasons given was that it would make the determination of homicide cases more difficult for the legal profession. However economic pressures could make the authorities change their minds. Terminal care is very expensive and a Cryonics Institute suspension is about UKP22k including transport. As there is a hope and a chance of revival into good health and youth, such a procedure would not be euthanasia. But it should never be compulsory, and patients should only be able to use the facility if they had signed papers whilst of sound mind. -- Sincerely, **************************************** * Publisher of Longevity Report * John de Rivaz * Fractal Report * * details on request * **************************************** In the information age, sharing can increase world wealth enormously, because giving information does not decrease your information. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/JohndeR Fast loading, very few slow pictures Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=5765
