These Yes, I did start it, taking up a point in a thread about a uk convicted murderer that is the subject of a "five minute hate" every so often by the media. There are now a couple of side threads that are running quite healthily as well. The main Deathleader seems to be one John Sharman, but I am not sure what his occupation is. > newsgroups have a readership numbering the tens of thousands, and > every message I post includes pointers to more cryonics information > on the net. If a cryonicist lives in a vacuum alone somewhere, then he is at risk to lying dead for weeks even months before being found. Maybe his wishes will be followed for the want of anything better to do. But there is probably very little to stop him moving his life to live to near a cryonics organisation. If he lives amongst death-kneeling people he has somehow to convince them to allow his wishes to be carried out even if he can't convince them to join him. But of course the very best thing a cryonicist can do in order to survive is to get a few people who live nearby him to sign up. -- Sincerely, **************************************** * Publisher of Longevity Report * John de Rivaz * Fractal Report * * details on request * **************************************** In the information age, sharing can increase world wealth enormously, because giving information does not decrease your information. http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/JohndeR Fast loading, very few slow pictures Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=5849
