After a bit of thought I will add something to my previous reply to Dave Pizer's message. In PERIASTRON, the newsletter I put out, I have not discussed Pietsch's work very much, if at all, mainly because it happened years ago. However work on finding means to release the factors inhibiting brain repair goes on right now, and PERIASTRON definitely covers that field. The nearest thing to becoming a clinical therapy would be ways to significantly assist the repair of broken or damaged spinal cords. That would be medically important in itself. It would also prove that such repair can happen, and perhaps even give some hints about how to do it. Best and long long life, Thomas Donaldson Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=6348
