BAsically tissue engineering is the prompting of regrowth of the body's damaged or missing tissues/cells; the method entailed here involves collagen implants. Currently, full FDA approval is not needed, and the technique is being marketed for knee problems. AP story says, "sounds like science fiction, but..." and speculates on replacement of damaged organs using this method. Now if they can just be prompted to write a story on the potential for bdoy-brain transplants.... -- Randy Smith do not go gentle into that good night rage, rage against the dying of the light Dylan Thomas Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=6349
