Note: Somehow, this message was omitted from yesterday's Cryonet, although it
was referenced in another message which got posted. Sorry.

Well here I was feeling slightly down with the current dearth of pledges to
the Prometheus Project when I got the following message.

Randy that is a great idea. Do you want to take care of the initial
paperwork, it would probably be easier from your end? I guess every little
bit helps.

OK, Paul, Daniel Jacobs and I want to team up for $1000/yr for 10 years.
what do we need to do?

---- End joint pledge message ----

Absolutely beautiful!

How's that for the value and practicality of the Internet?
An Australian and an American who have not met and may *never* meet join
together to make the pledge minimum. The success of *this* project should
give them a lot of time in which to arrange a meeting.

Randy and Daniel, you've made my day!

Right, now you don't need to do anything, except spread the word and try
to get others involved and pledging. You might both also write and send me,
or publish yourselves a short statement about why you're making your pledge
and why you believe that everyone should support the Prometheus Project to
the fullest they can.
When our "insider" pledge list gets operational you'll have an
opportunity to take part in the formation of the plans for the project. One
of the things that I'm going to do there is ask pledgers to list any talents
and spare time which could be put to use for the project.
