Subject: Concerns About Saul Kent

From: Kent, Saul, 71043,1120

To: Cryonet,Internet:

Ken Stone said that one of the things that's keeping him from
pledging to The Project is my involvement in it. He even suggests
that's he's afraid of "getting ripped off" because of my involvement in
The Project.

Before I address his concerns, I'd like to make it clear that
I am a pledger and an advocate for The Project, nothing more. The
Project was started and is being developed by Paul Wakfer. Paul has
made it clear that he and he alone will be in charge until the
financial goal of The Project is achieved, and that when a company is
formed to conduct the research, it will be run by its stockholders.
Since I and my partner Bill Faloon are pledgers and plan to be stock-
holders in the company, we will exert our influence over the
company's affairs in proportion to the percentage of stock we own.

As for as Mr. Stone's concerns:

	1. I am Founder and President of The Life Extension Foundation.
The Foundation has members who pay $75 a year to obtain information about
research, politics, products, and therapies. Members also get discounts
on their purchase of products sold by The Foundation or by companies
recommended by The Foundation.

	2. The Foundation and the FDA differ on many things. The FDA
spent millions of dollars over a 9-year period trying to destroy The
Foundation and put my partner and I in prison. They failed. The story
of our war with the FDA is in the current (September) issue of our
monthly publication LIFE EXTENSION MAGAZINE. This is neither the
time nor the place to discuss our differences with the FDA.

	3. The Foundation has never made any money from the sale of
deprenyl. We've recommended its use for Parkinson's and Alzheimer's
disease and as a possible anti-aging agent based upon the available
scientific evidence. In the current issue of our magazine, we have an
article analyzing recent negative findings about deprenyl and
re-evaluating our recommendations of the drug. Again, this is
neither the place nor the time to discuss this issue.

	4. I do not think it is appropriate for me to discuss any
lawsuits or legal proceedings we may have been involved in through
the years, but I can tell you that no legal judgement has ever been
rendered against us regarding any product we've ever sold or
recommended.

As far as your concerns about me, about anyone else, or about
The Project itself, I'd say the best way of educating yourself about
these things would be for you to made your pledge to The Project. By
doing so, you'll be privy to the discussions leading to the development
of the scientific and business plans for The Project, you'll get to know
the other pledgers better, including myself, and you'll have plenty of
time (probably at least a year and a half) to decide whether you want
to invest in The Project If you don't approve of the plans or anyone
associated with The Project, you'll be able to drop out before a red
cent is collected from you or anyone else.
