It's idiodic to assume that just because I took exception to the manner in
which Leary was treated that I had anything to do with these anonymous
posts. I did not. (Some time ago, Brian Wowk and I agreed to a truce on
public discussion of this subject.) It's also incorrect to say that I am
Platt's/CryoCare's "only vocal critic"; I'm not the only one that has
found their actions to be reprehensible as past mailblasts will show.

Peter says that the anonymous poster is irrational; I'm not prepared to
speak for whoever posted the note, but as a friend of Timothy Leary's and
as a cryonicist for many years, it sickens me that Timothy didn't make it
into suspension and I submit that anybody who doesn't feel any remorse over
what happened is not seriously interested in cryonics. This is not to say
that Peter Merel et al. doesn't have some fascination with what some of us
are trying to do, but he clearly doesn't have the same drive that your
average run-of-the-mill cryonicist has who cares about his life and those
of others.

Ps- I find it a little humorous that subscribers of this list feel
compelled to make large pledges to the Prometheus Project based on
ludicrous make money fast posts! I am not one for outlawing anonymous
postings to CryoNet as there have been some innocent ones, but perhaps
Kevin could check the queue and rid the mailblast of any anonymous
messages that are not strictly about cryonics.
