"I've been told......must be considered hearsay."  Hmmm Actually, my
letter to the *PHOENIX* was a correction/elaboration to the initial story
printed there the prior month. And that correction was based on
information posted here by Mssrs. Platt & Wowk. The article in the current
*CRYONICS* is complete.

On 8/15, I posted here a minor correction to Platt's web article, on an
issue of which I had first hand knowledge & he had none (if I had the time
to look, I'd wager that the article hasn't been corrected). Other than
that, and as I said then, I believe that Platt's article was factually
correct.  Thanks to that article, I feel no need to editorialize or
criticize because Platt has painted *exactly* the picture of himself and
his "standby" which I had envisioned.
