I don't believe Bob Ettinger was speaking for Alcor. I don't believe it is
clear that Alcor wishes to compete with the Prometheus Project (when if
becomes a project).

I am get the impression that Alcor directors are "kinda" waiting to
see more on the Prometheus project before taking a stand either way.

I believe the details of the Visser plan will be revealed when the Vissers
choose to publish their results. In the meantime I think Paul's offer to
have Prometheus cooperation between all who want to cooperate is good.

Since Paul has said that Prometheus will not be ready to accept money for a
year or so (until they reach $1,000,000 per year in pledges and all the
participants agree on all the details), I hope that Paul will encourage the
potential Prometheus pledges to contribute to Alcor's pilot research
right now, while they are waiting for Prometheus to get finalized.

Just $100,000 right now would help Alcor do some pilot work, and the pilot
work could be all done before Prometheus is ready to go.

Thank's for any help.

Dave
