Why should anyone donate any money for this without knowing
substantial details of the research conducted thus far? Wouldn't you
folks be better off waiting until peer reviewed publication was
completed? Without sufficient details to reproduce the experiment I
have no way to know if any of this is novel or simply an extension of
previous research, much of which will not scale to large tissue
samples but which will work on small ones. If details cannot be
disclosed right now, have the courtesy to wait until they can before
requesting money.

People are free to give money to whatever thing they like, but I'm
personally not donating any until I get very, very solid information
on the methods being used.

This is not to say that I'm not enthusiastic about the prospect of
Visser's research being a real breakthrough. I'm open-minded. However,
I would like to see details first, not afterwards.
