The Cryonics Institute and the Immortalist Society held their annual meetings
at CI's Clinton Township, Michigan facility on Sunday, Sep. 29. Minutes will
be mailed to members and highlights will appear in the next issue of THE
IMMORTALIST, including the full Cryonics Institute financial statement for
the fiscal year ending March 31, 1996.

Highlights of the CI financial statement, as reported by Vice
President/Treasurer Patrick A. Heller and Assistant Treasurer Stephen Luyckx:

Total assets $1,771,248.90, including $806,922.38 general operations and
$964,326.52 patient care.

There were no liabilities except accumulated withholding and payroll taxes
for the then current period, $2,838.35.

Operating revenues exceeded expenses by $52,601.93.

Positive cash flow (total increase in cash) was $429,581.05. This was largely
attributable to a bequest by Andrea Foote.

Positive cash flow from operations was $50,894.93.
