I confess that I'm quite bemused by this. I penned a letter and sent it
off; I received two emails from Time USA saying they would print it
December 16, and a snail from Time Australia saying they'd print it
December 6 (though there was no Dec 6 Time Australia ...). Needless to say, 
it's not there. I'll send off a couple of queries and see what happened.

Not at all! It was a fine idea, and if it doesn't come off that doesn't mean
it wasn't still a fine idea. Now come up with another one!
