Subject: Year 2000 Problems

Bob Ettinger and Hara Ra commented about the Y2K problem. There has been
considerable activity on the problem for a number of years now although the
issue has only recently begun to get serious media attention. This will be
very big crunch, but the notion that cryonics orgs could make money in this
area other than through investment is extremely naive. The skills are
different and the train has already left the station. For comments about
the many companies scrambling to address the problem, try a longstanding
thread at silicon investor ---

For general information, the year-2000 information center is a good place to
start: http://www.year2000.com/cgi-bin/clock.cgi
