X-Message-Number: 7462 Date: Wed, 8 Jan 1997 22:21:01 -0500 (EST) From: Robin Helweg-Larsen <> Subject: Business management game seminar, Phoenix - no charge As some of you know, I am president of a company (Andromeda Training, Inc) that creates, teaches and licenses business simulations (The game of Income Outcome). Our chief clients are Hewlett-Packard, Michelin, and Houston Lighting & Power. Other clients include Lucent and Lego. I will be running a 1-day session in Phoenix/Scottsdale on Monday, Feb 3 (i.e. right after the Alcor TechFest which I am attending). It is designed to showcase the speed and completeness of business skills training that we provide, and is primarily for potential clients in Arizona. However, I will be happy to have on the course any Alcor members or TechFest attendees who want to put in a long day and experience some of the best business finance training available!!! (Hype, of course, but when I tell you that HP's world-wide finance function development manager agrees, and that I've personally trained Michelin North America's 300 senior managers last year, then believe me at least a little :-) There will be no charge for the program, and I will provide lunch and refreshments. Dress casual to business casual. (I'll wear a suit; you can wear trendily ripped jeans if you want.) It is a team-based competitive simulation, each team runs a business simulation in direct competition with the other teams in the room. It's sort of like playing a business version of Civ, except with half-a-dozen companies competing each at their own physical gameboard. It's a blast! Location not certain yet; hours probably 8 - 4:30; and I can't guarantee to take everyone (total program limit of 30, priority to potential clients); though if I promise you a place, you'll get that place, even if I end up turning a last-minute client away (I should be so lucky). If the course isn't full, I'll take last-minute people, but of course I'd prefer to get at least a vague expression of interest from you as soon as possible so that I can plan better. Always optimistically, Robin HL Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=7462
