I agree with Thomas about supporting a shared living arrangement and not
caring about the type.  As I communicated to Mike Perry, I believe this
idea, like all other areas of cryonics, suffers from horrendous
diseconomies of scale that can only be remedied by a 10-fold increase in
membership, which in turn can only be remedied by research advances.

I also share Thomas' observations about FDA and bans on cloning being
only the latest incursion on liberty.  If one defines "bioethicist" as
someone who believes he or she is qualified to make biomedical decisions
for another when the rights of a third party are not at stake, then
Thomas is asking for a libertarian socialist/elitist to step forward. 
Hopefully, that is oxymoronical.
