The Senate will debate the Andrews Bill which seeks to override the Northern Territory's Right to die law and prevent other Territories making similar laws. It follows a Senate Inquiry which held public hearings in Darwin and Canberra, and received a record 12 and a half thousand written submissions. It's still unknown whether intense lobbying from the Northern Territory will see the senate debate broadcast in Darwin. Four people have so far used the law.
