Subject: Re: URGENT! Cell Line Storage protocol request from Norway.

Thanks for the quick reply,
The content was however not what I asked for.

When I spoke to you last night,
I had already contacted the two doctors that froze dead cell samples
of the two people placed in cryogenic suspension here in Norway,
Skin-cell samples of Bredo Morst|l were frozen at Radium Hospitalet 4
days after he died in 1989 and dead skin and muscle tissue from Fr|ya
Hindal were taken and frozen at Rikshospitalet 6 days after she died in
1990. We have thus already used twice the brief procedure you
described in your e-mail for straight freezing of dead tissue samples.

What I asked you about was what you would charge to provide
the specific protocol that you used for handling live cell samples.
E.g. the specific steps in taking cell samples with a scalpel or syringe
etc, how the cell samples were packaged and cooled while under transport
to the laboratory e.g. the boxes you used to mail out with shipping bag
and shipping instructions. Then How the cells were treated at Vivigen
once the samples arrived there, e.g. How were the cells made to grow,
How were the cells separated from one another? and what nutrients and
chemicals were used to cultivate the cells, to split the tissue into
individual cells, and to prepare the cells so these would survive
freezing? And what other steps were taken?

And you promissed to let me know what you would charge to
provide that protocol.
Do I understand you correct that you want $500 for that information?
If so then I will consult with the family of the deceased and with
a local filmcrew that might be interested in paying to get that protocol.

I hope that there has been no misunderstanding.
You aren't asking $500 for the brief e-mail that you sent are you?
After all that contained nothing of what I had been asking for.

If I have misunderstood, please let me know.

Thanks,

Trygve
