Could one of the defenders of the notion that it is somehow possible to create an infinite cascade of simulations please let me know where I can go find an affordable infinite-MB SIMM to run one on? Failing that, just telling me where I might go procure a basic no-frills hard-drive with an infinite amount of storage space would leave me forever in your debt. I'm sure I can work out a clever Turing-machine based scheme to implement a virtual memory manager that'll work around the limitations of my machine's 32-bt address bus, so don't bother to worry about such trivial details for me. But if the hard drive turns out to be out of stock, just point me to a source for one of those handy infinitely-long 9-track tapes. I'd prefer a density of 6250 BPI (just to cut down on the wear and tear on our tape drive) but if an 1800 is the only thing available, I'll deal with it. Oh, yeah, it'd help if the source you recommend is reliable, offers prompt delivery (I really needed it yesterday), and will either (a) take Visa (if the price is under $10K), (b) extend me personal credit, or (c) honor a P.O. from my company. (We've got a good rating from Dun & Bradstreet, so I'm sure we're good for it, whatever it costs.) Thanks in advance! -Ken Rate This Message: http://www.cryonet.org/cgi-bin/rate.cgi?msg=8195
